Pomeroy Campground is the perfect place for family camping! It’s beautiful setting with large skies and moon lit nights, also boasts facilities for outdoor volleyball, basketball, softball or football for the older children and adults, and the perfect large, well kept playground with more playground equipment than a child can dream of for even the smallest of children. Located in Gordon Prange City Park on the NW corner of the town, this little campground is the perfect place with plenty to do for all ages. Looking for a place to host a weekend get together, baseball or football tournament? How about a scouting or other weekend group activity? Look no further, you’ve found your perfect place! Large, full hookup sites with a dynamite shelter house that accommodates small to large groups up to 65. Shelter house is equipped with tables, chairs, gas grill, TV, large counter for food and can be heated if there is a chill in the air. The campground is very family orientated. Lots of park equipment very near to the campsites. It is quiet and peaceful. Nice enclosed shelter house can be rented for larger gatherings. There is also an open area under the roof that can be used if you want to be outside and it is raining.

The campground is a short distance from Twin Lakes but much better location due to the peacefulness of the area. 6 full site hook ups and plenty of space for tents. There are several playground areas for kids to play. A fenced in baseball and football field adjacent to the campground. The shelter has wonderful bathrooms and a single shower stall that can be used by campers. There are a several benches to enjoy the outdoors and even a picnic table under a roof for eating outside.

This campsite is my favorite in Calhoun County! It has full hookups, which includes sewer, electricity and water as well as wifi. The camping spaces are large, there’s a great shelter house that can be used in the cooler weather or 3 sides opened up for warmer weather. For tent campers, there are full restroom/shower facilities. This is such a great place we hold our family reunions here every other year with family members coming from all over the US. Can’t say enough good things about this place!
