The Pomeroy Campground in Iowa is the perfect place for family camping! This beautiful setting, with large skies and moonlit nights, boasts facilities for outdoor volleyball, tennis, basketball, softball or football for the older children and adults. It also has a large, well-kept playground with more equipment than a child of any age can dream of!

Located in Gordon Prange City Park on the NW corner of Pomeroy, this small campground has plenty to do for all ages. Looking for a place to host a weekend get together, baseball or football tournament? How about a scouting or other weekend group activity? Look no further you’ve found the perfect place! Centrally located between the recreational waters of Storm Lake and Twin Lakes, the RV sites feature large, full hookups and picnic tables for outdoor dining. There is even a campfire site to create the atmosphere of story-telling and the making of smores!

Also located at Gordon Prange City Park is a dynamite shelter house that accommodates small to large groups up to 65 people. The shelter house is equipped with tables, chairs internet service, TV, and a large counter for food. It also has bathrooms and a shower, and can even be heated if there is a chill in the air.
